Telemarketing Executive

We are currently expanding and looking for a Telemarketing Executive to join our team.

Role description

The objective of the role is to generate new appointments for our Commercial Director to attend. It will largely be up to you to decide how to achieve this but will likely be a combination of contact by telephone, email, social media platforms or events. You will need to be confident on the phone and you will need to have a desire to meet and talk to new people. This coupled with a drive to achieve results and make a difference to our client’s lives would make you an ideal person to join our team.

Person specification

All our people are amazing and continually strive to be even more amazing, so a strong desire for personal development is mandatory. As is the need to be confident, imaginative and be able to work autonomously. We are a friendly bunch, so the need to be friendly, lively and hard-working are all traits that you will need for this role. You don’t need specific IT knowledge although it would be an advantage.

  • Basic salary: £20,000 to £30,000 /year
  • Commission for successful appointments, with an additional bonus for new prospects that become clients.
  • 24 days holiday rising to 28 days after 4 years service
  • Benefits after successful probationary period, including private healthcare
  • Full time or part time hours (or term time only) salary pro-rata

Helpdesk Technician – First Line

We are looking for a dedicated first-line Helpdesk Technician to join our team.

You will be working on our IT service desk to provide ticket resolution and to be accountable for escalations. Reporting to our Helpdesk Manager, you will minimise disruption to our clients by resolving incidents in a timely and efficient manner and by providing outstanding levels of customer service.

Day to day:

We offer a varied, fast-paced, challenging role that will typically include;

• Resolution of support issues
• Monitoring escalations and seeing all incidents through to resolution
• Assigning tickets for escalation
• Ensuring that tickets involving 3rd party suppliers are raised and monitored appropriately
• Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager any escalation issues in a timely manner, and ensuring that any risks or concerns are highlighted
• Assisting the Helpdesk Manager to ensure that all SLA’s are achieved and service quality levels are maintained
• To provide technical support internally when appropriate
• Translate technical knowledge to understandable terms for clients
• Understand business impact of clients not being able to work
• Maintain business services by monitoring, measuring and optimising our clients’ systems
• Ensure IT knowledge base is maintained and updated with clients’ applications, IT systems and all relevant information
• Assist with rolling out version/change updates

The successful candidate:
Our perfect candidate will likely have the following characteristics;

• Circa 2 years of IT Service desk experience
• Knowledge and experience of Office 365
• Knowledge of the following would be helpful but not essential:-
– NCentral
– Microsoft Applications (Windows desktop, server, SQL, Exchange, remote desktop services)
– Watchguard
– ESET products
– Lenovo servers, laptop and desktops
– Kaspersky products
– Sharepoint
• Confident on the phone; verbal communication is key for this role
• Clear and accurate writing skills
• Working in a small team it is critical that you are friendly, optimistic, dependable and calm
• The ability to listen is key to ensure a clear understanding of customer issues and requests
• A diplomatic, caring, professional nature is a must
• We very much value the pursuit of growth and learning
• A willingness to counsel, teach and guide each other
• To work without judgement
• Always look for the best outcome to any situation
• Be caring, helpful and put self in the shoes of others
• Salary: £18,000 to £21,000 /year
• Generous benefits package on completion of successful probationary period.
• Full time. 8.30pm – 5pm at our office.
