Reflecting on Our Journey
What an incredible journey it has been! As we mark our 10th anniversary, we find ourselves reflecting on a decade defined by resilience and a firm commitment to our clients and team. Over the past ten years, we have navigated a landscape transformed by global events; Brexit, the Covid pandemic, and ongoing challenges such as the ‘Cost of Living’ crisis. Through it all, we are proud to say: we are still here, we are stronger than ever, and we are thriving.
From humble beginnings we have grown to support 160 clients and nearly 3,000 users, spanning Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex, Berkshire, Surrey, and London.
When we started in 2015, we were faced with no existing customers, or even a telephone system for the first week. But passion, hard work and positivity enabled the business to grow. Fast track 10 years and we have much to celebrate. Year after year, our reach and reputation have continued to expand, fuelled by our passion for technology and the trust of those we support.
Among our earliest partners were ten pioneering clients who placed their faith in us. While one company has since closed its doors, another departed due to a merger, and a third transitioned entirely to Mac solutions, we celebrate the lasting relationships that define HBTech. Seven of our original clients remain with us, a testament to enduring trust, consistent service, and mutual success.

When John Clough started HB Tech, his mission was always to have an IT company which places the human aspect at the heart of the business, following the philosophy that perfect client partnerships are vital for achieving mutual success.
We therefore extend our deepest thanks to each of our clients, thank you for trusting us, for allowing us to partner with you, and for letting us share in the growth and success of your business. It is a true pleasure to work alongside you all.
Asking John what makes a perfect client partnership, he said, “First and foremost, trust, our clients want to be able to trust we will always proactively look after their IT, and of course also doing what you say you will do, when you say you will do it!”
We want to be the IT company that everyone’s happy to recommend, the go-to team known for our reliability, expertise, and that personal touch. And honestly, we’re proud to say we’re really making that vision a reality.

HBTech wouldn’t be what it is today without the dedication and positivity our team brings to the table every day and we are exceptionally proud of them. The facts speak for themselves: we’ve hit some fantastic milestones, but what really matters are the client relationships and team we’ve built and the trust and recommendations we’ve earned along the way.
When asked what it’s taken to get to this ten-year milestone, Carol Evans, Head of Amazing, remarked, “It’s taken dedication, but most importantly, our success has come from having the right people by our side, those who share our vision and have truly joined us on this remarkable journey.”
As we celebrate our ten-year milestone, we give heartfelt thanks to every client, partner, supporter, and team member who has shaped our journey. Looking to the future, our focus remains on growing with our clients, embracing new opportunities, and staying true to our values.
